We have met our objectives!

On the night of Mar 18, my wife, Lenie received a call with news that Noor Atiqah M.Lasim a Singaporean single mother, was sentenced to death by the Shah Alam Court, Malaysia. She could not believe it at first but Yahoo News confirmed this with pics of Iqah herself. Instantaneously Lenie broke down into tears.

Immediately Lenie contacted Edayu (Iqah sis) and pledge to help. That was the start of the Save Atiqah movement.

Lenie didn’t know what form of help she could give, but she wanted to do anything she could as she couldn’t believe that Iqah, her friend for 14 years could do a big enough mistake that warrants a death penalty.

With the blessing of Atiqah’s family – Abg Zainal, Kak Ayu, Kak Ena, Abg Bhai, we started this blog. Our objective was simple; to raise S$50K to help Atiqah.

Today I’m pleased to announce that WE HAVE MET THAT OBJECTIVE! J

We have raised S$50K today and it would not be possible without the help of all of you.
